DNO was founded in 1971, and is Norway’s oldest oil company and the first to list on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 1981. Initially a North Sea player, but over the past two decades focus shifted to the Middle East region, home to the world’s most prolific oil resources. By tapping into its Norwegian heritage and leveraging the regional footprint, DNO is proven a nimble and successful operator, even in challenging environments. Award winning Magasin
As part of the annual report in 2010-2012, DNO created a magasin to better communicate the stories about the people and projects in DNO. The magasin was successfully used to engage employees, shareholders, stakeholders, and attract new talents.
The magasin won the prestigious prices of “Best creative idea” in Farmand prisen.
ReBRanding
The DNO logo had a long history and was recognised internationally among peers in the industry.
However, in 2014 the decision to rebrand the company was made. The new logo and the new brand was finally implemented across all channels, international offices and operations (plants and oil platforms) by the end 2014.
