Award winning magazine

DNO was founded in 1971, and is Norway’s oldest oil company and the first to list on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 1981. Initially a North Sea player, but over the past two decades, the focus shifted to the Middle East region, home to the world’s most prolific oil resources. By tapping into its Norwegian heritage and leveraging the regional footprint, DNO is proven a nimble and successful operator, even in challenging environments. DNO's DNA is to be first, fair and firm.

As part of the annual report in 2010-2012, DNO created a magazine to communicate better the stories about the people and projects in DNO. The magazine was successfully used to engage employees, shareholders, stakeholders, and attract new talent.

The magazine won the prestigious prize of “Best creative idea” in the Farmand prize.
